I recently got the opportunity to review the C-2 Pets stainless steel dog nail clippers I ordered from Amazon. I found these clippers very well made with some really awesome features. The grips are soft, easy to hold and easy to squeeze. The clippers do not "hang" up when clipping the nails, like many of the cheaper versions I have purchased at Walmart or the Dollar Store. One feature I really love is the safety guard that prevents you from taking too much nail at once and possibly getting into the "quick" of the nail. It only allows you to take off small slivers of nail at a time (however, you can choose to move the guard back and take off bigger pieces of nail), but I choose to use the guard. It is very sharp and clips the nail with ease. They are so sharp they decided to put a safety lock on the clippers to avoid accidental injury to children or adults when the clippers are not in use. My dog let me cut her nails without any problem and the nails were clipped easily and without any discomfort to her. These clippers can be used on small, medium and some larger dogs.
